Welcome To Genesis

What is Genesis?

Hi, and welcome to Genesis, our Friday show which is part world-building, part chaos experiment, and funding for us here at Tablestory. 

During the next 8 weeks, you'll be collectively contributing to the fourth continent in the world of Solmira, which includes Sidequest's Vaefall, Wack's Oksara, and PB's Thealis. 

Your contributions are permanent additions to Solmira, which means characters in future shows can be from a city you place, or their favorite refuge a magical vista you've created. 

Every contributor will get a PDF version of the map when it's done. 

When Tipping, please include:

  1. Your full discord username.
    (You can join our server here: https://tablestory.tv/discord)

    Why do you want this? 
    You'll be added to a private discord channel for contributors where you'll have instant access to the map when it's ready, will be able to answer follow up questions we might have. 

    What if I don't have Discord? (Or don't want to join?)
    That's fine! Just include your email address that we can reach you on, somewhere to send your pdf version. 

    What if I want to remain anonymous and don't want to give you email/discord?
    That's also fine! Please just include whatever name you want credited, if any at all. And thank you for your patronage! <3 

  2.  The name you want credited in the final legend/credits section. 
    Can be usernames instead of real names, but innappropriate usernames will not be included. Please be clear as to which you want us to use.
  3.  What you're buying, the name you'd like, and the idea you want attached to your spot, including the biome. 
    If you're not particular about any one of these things, like the name, location, etc- just let us know in your message.

FAQ & Disclaimer

I get to name it? 
Yes, you get to name things (within reason, innapropraite names will not be included and changed). We encourage you to think geographically — valleys, ridges, rivers — but have fun with it. “Whistletop Ridge” makes sense if the wind howls through the peaks, but “Jeff’s Steppe” also works… as long as we can all agree Jeff must’ve done _something_ worth naming a steppe after, even if he tragically fell to his death. 

If you can't think of a name, that's cool, we'll come up with a neat, in world, lore accurate way to nod at your username.
